He is one of the Founders of the Rebecca School in NYC for students with Autism, where he created programs, did all the admissions interviews and assessments, supervised clinicians and teachers and ran trainings while serving as Clinical Director for the school's first 12 years. He left there to help create Shrub Oak International School in Westchester County, NY. He created programs to developmentally support students on the Autism Spectrum. He is now the Clinical Director Emeritus of Shrub Oak.

He is currently the Director of Dirty Hands Developmental Alliance, a non-profit which works in the DIR/Floortime Model with young adults with ASD after their traditional school years. In the context of a small, family owned organic farm, young men and women get the therapies and developmental support, and the transition support, they need to move into the world of work or the world of higher education.
Gil's private practice, Respectrum Developmental Services, LLC, does the same work, but also supports neurotypical people with a variety of challenges.
His office is in Sebastopol, CA.
